THIS IS AN H.C. BAY SOLO CONCERTO UPRIGHT PLAYER PIANO built/manufactured in Chicago, IL.......This piano was handed down as an heirloom. From my understanding this piano came into the family through an estate sale a number of years back. It has been WELL taken care of. It was of primary use for family gatherings and entertainment. I had its year appraised by 3 companies and 2 of them put it at circa 1914-1915. The over-all condition is GREAT. The machine inside was professionally rebuilt with an invoice to prove it. The over all performance of this machine proves itself! It has been tuned a number of times since we've had it by one of the best in this area! As of right now we just had it moved to a new spot so the tone/tuning will need to be redone. The keys are 100% ivory. One key is slightly sticky but for its age, it performs SOOO well. The pedals are tight, original and perform 100% properly. Considering it is almost 100 YEARS OLD! , there are some scratches and light wear and tear cosmetically as you will see in the photos. The internal mechanisms are outstanding! The bench is not original, and DID NOT come with the piano. I do not know what price was paid for the piano when it was purchased. (it was a long time ago). I am selling this piano because I am on the road so much and just don't use it. I feel like it belongs in a showroom or in a place where it can be loved and appreciated by the public. I almost see it going in an old colonial bed and breakfast or something to entertain guests. Great for collectors or even a family who wants a new heirloom! It also have over 100 rolls of music that you can play and sing along with!
